The Global Wellness Summit’s theme this year is The Science, Art & Soul of Wellness, and this newly announced part of the agenda puts a special spotlight on the art and soul.

Susan Magsamen, founder and executive director of the International Arts + Mind Lab at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and co-author of the New York Times bestseller Your Brain on Art, will share the latest research on how music, art and architecture can transform brain health and wellbeing. The Summit will also launch a first-of-its-kind Intentional Spaces Design Challenge, developed with Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics with support from GWS Strategic Partner Aldar Properties.

Another leader championing the arts, and in this case Indigenous craft, is Tal Danai, founder and CEO of ArtLink, one of the world’s leading hospitality art consultancies. Tal will premiere a global film project honoring traditional craftsmanship and artisan cultures. ArtLink is celebrating 30 years of preservation and promotion of art throughout the world in hotels, restaurants, cruise ships and much more, revolutionizing how we experience hospitality.

This is just a taste of what’s to come, with many more special announcements ahead exploring how creativity, culture and design are shaping the future of wellness at the 20th annual Global Wellness Summit November 10-13 in Phuket, Thailand.
