What if the places we create could make us feel better, connect more deeply and live more joyfully?
This November, visionary British designer and Heatherwick Studio founder Thomas Heatherwick will take the stage as a keynote speaker at the 20th anniversary Global Wellness Summit, November 10–13 at Angsana Laguna Phuket in Thailand.
One of the world’s most original creative thinkers, Heatherwick has spent his career challenging conventional ideas about what buildings and public spaces can, and should, be. His internationally celebrated projects include Little Island in New York, Coal Drops Yard in London and 1,000 Trees in Shanghai, each designed around a fundamentally human question: How can the built world make life better?
It’s a question that sits at the heart of this year’s Summit theme, “The Science, Art and Soul of Wellness.”
Heatherwick will explore how the environments we inhabit can shape the way we feel, move, connect and experience everyday life, and why the future of wellness must consider not only our bodies and minds, but the world we build around them.
As the Global Wellness Summit marks 20 years at the forefront of the wellness movement, Heatherwick joins an exceptional and growing group of global leaders, including Dan Buettner, William E. Heinecke, Andrea B. Maier, MD, PhD, Ronald Akili, Huy Hoang, George Gaitanos, PhD, Susan Magsamen and Tal Danai.
